Kidron Fellowship is a forum for spiritual blessing and prayer for the community of Inverclyde, where evangelical believers from different churches unite to be a blessing to their locality.
We meet monthly for a time of prayer and testimony and to learn how to align our lives for greater blessing and impact for Jesus right where we are. Participants pray for the manifest breaking in of the Kingdom of God and play our part in its release through our life and witness with the aid of the questions:
- Who, what can you affirm and bless?
- To whom can you show mercy?
- With whom can you share the Gospel?
- What opportunity is God opening up for you to declare the good news of the Kingdom in your area?
- Who could you invite to come and join with you?
"Kidron has helped to keep me focused on the needs of other people in our community and have the opportunity to pray as a group for Inverclyde."
"It's been a huge blessing and encouragement and a focus for fellowship."
"I have found meeting with other Christians from across the denominations very encouraging, as we gather as one in bringing our prayer requests to the Lord for our families, friends, community, and upholding the work of the Kidron Project in serving the whole person."
We seek the expansion of the Kingdom of God: for God’s will to be done here on earth, through interceding for, serving and blessing, the people, places and communities of Inverclyde. That God may be glorified and her people prosper.
As part of our Christian response to God’s call to be a blessing in our community we run various social action initiatives in the Inverclyde area through the Kidron Project. Find out the story behind the name of Kidron Project here.
“We pray for you all the time—pray that our God will make you fit for what he’s called you to be, pray that he’ll fill your good ideas and acts of faith with his own energy so that it all amounts to something . . . Grace is behind and through all of this . . . Jesus Christ, giving himself freely.”
