THE KIDRON FELLOWSHIP
The Kidron Fellowship is a place of spiritual blessing and prayer for the community of Inverclyde where believers of any denomination, or none, can be refreshed and encouraged to become a blessing to their locality.
Part of the Local House of Prayer network associated with Ffald y Brenin in Wales, we meet weekly for a time of prayer and praise and to learn a framework to help us align our lives for greater blessing and impact for Jesus right where we are. Participants adopt a small local area and worship and pray for the manifest breaking in of the Kingdom of God there. We proclaim blessings and play our part in its release through our life and witness with the aid of the Caleb Questions:
- Who, what can you affirm and bless?
- To whom can you show mercy?
- With whom can you share the Gospel?
- What opportunity is God opening up for you as a group to declare the good news of the Kingdom in your area?
- Who could you invite to come and join with you?
"The nearness of God I have experienced in prayer and in my daily life has blow me away. I have so much more confidence in living out my faith and reaching out to others. I enjoy being a Christian again!"
"I have found a place where I am accepted and loved and encouraged and I have learned so much about who God is and who he has made me to be. My life has turned around over this last year. I am excited about what’s to come."
We seek the expansion of the Kingdom of God: for God’s will to be done here on earth, through interceding for, serving and blessing, the people, places and communities of Inverclyde. That God may be glorified and her people prosper.
As part of our Christian response to God’s call to be a blessing in our community we run various social action initiatives in the Inverclyde area through the Kidron Project. Find out the story behind the name Kidron here.
“Because we know that this extraordinary day is just ahead, we pray for you all the time—pray that our God will make you fit for what he’s called you to be, pray that he’ll fill your good ideas and acts of faith with his own energy so that it all amounts to something. If your life honors the name of Jesus, he will honor you. Grace is behind and through all of this, our God giving himself freely, the Master, Jesus Christ, giving himself freely.”
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 (The Passion Translation)
