Social Connection

Make a difference in community together

We encourage course members at Kidron Project to continue to grow their confidence and connections beyond the life of our courses or programmes by taking advantage of the social connection opportunities available including community groups and free community lunches and events.

Community Meal Events

Join us for an 'Evening with Kidron' once a quarter and enjoy a free hot meal and uplifting activites for all the family and stories from the Kidron community.

Cuppa @ Kidron

We run a monthly free lunch at various community cafes in Greenock throughout the year where our course members, volunteers and supporters can enjoy an informal catch up and friendly company.

Join our mailing list to be kept informed of where and when these events will be each month

Community Gardening

Kidron Project have raised beds for community gardening and veg growing at Lyle Gateway and work in partnership with the Inverclyde Community Food Network to provide workshops for those interested in learning how to grow your own fruit and veg and enhancing mental health and wellbeing through gardening.

We really do believe that strength comes from sharing life together - through the good and the bad. We’ve seen it first-hand, time and time again; when we set our minds to something, that extra input of experience and support gives us a richer understanding of the world and how to change things for the better.

We live in a world that can often feel lonely and where being able to 'do it all' on your own is seen as a good thing. We believe the opposite. We know that coming together and connecting with others is a pretty powerful thing. Whether you just want to enjoy a chat over coffee or have a new outlet for social purpose - it starts with connecting.

Community groups at Kidron Project are a place for new ideas, conversations and belonging. We know big changes can happen in small groups so let’s get you into one!

Contact us to find out how to join or start a group in Inverclyde on hello@kidronproject.org or by calling us on 01475 325021.

"I was a very shy quiet person and Kidron made me feel part of a family and learning so much about myself. It brought out of my shell and met lovely people at the same time.
